Jasmine Kenyon

Artistic Director/ Choreographer

Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Eisteddfod, Tiny Tots & Beginners

Jasmine began dancing at the age of 7 and this is when she found a passion and love for dance. Having completed and achieved high marks in both jazz and tap exams with various syllabuses, she then broadened her training into lyrical, contemporary, hip hop and RAD classical ballet.

She competed and successfully placed in many eisteddfods throughout Australia whist training with Dance Force, as well as performing with several dance ensembles throughout her school training.

Jasmine successfully completed her Cert III in Live theatre productions in 2006 whilst studying and receiving her HSC. Following this Jasmine was selected to choreograph and teach full time at a local dance studio at the young age of 17. 

During this time, Jasmine found her true passion for teaching, and throughout her several years of teaching, choreographed many performances that successfully won eisteddfods and competitions throughout NSW and QLD, many of which won the finals at Showcase National Dance Championships.

Over 14 years of teaching, Jasmine has completed her Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Management and has gained much experience and knowledge in teaching dance of all styles, as well as anatomy and its relation to dance, safe dance training and many other important aspects of dance and dance teaching.

Jasmine established Incite Dance in 2015 on the beautiful Kirra Hill, and fulfilled a lifelong dream.

She is proud to direct a truly caring and encouraging dance studio, where it is Jasmine’s wish to empower each and every student to be the best dancer they can be.

Her aim is to provide each and every one of her students the same amount of care, attention and do everything she can to create a supportive, encouraging environment in helping her students reach their full potential.

Emma Salmon

Classical Ballet, Tiny Tots & Beginners

Emma started dancing when she was 10 years of age; at 16 she started full time dance tuition at the Australian Dance Performing Institute (ADPI).

After graduating in 2008, Emma auditioned and was accepted for a contract at the famous Moulin Rouge Cabaret dance spectacular in Paris, France.

While dancing in Paris, Emma was apart of small group of girls from the Moulin Rouge who appeared performing the can-can in a French movie called ‘Mystere au Moulin Rouge’.

After 18 months in Paris, Emma returned home for a short while before accepting a contract with Hong Kong Disneyland where she performed as Disney Princesses Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.

Emma has also competed internationally as a Professional Ballroom dancer, along with her Teachers Certificate with Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dance and an Advanced Diploma of Art (Musical Theatre) AD162.

Emma is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and looks forward to helping Incite Dance students reach their full potential under her care.

Bree Mitchell

Tiny Tots/Beginners, Jazz, Classical Ballet, Lyrical

Bree's journey into the world of dance commenced at the tender age of 5, and from that point onward, she immersed herself in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, and Lyrical. As her love for dance flourished, it drove her to take a significant step in her life - relocating to Sydney during her grade 12 year to pursue full-time dance training.

After gracing numerous national stages and gigs, Bree's path took an unexpected yet fulfilling turn when she realized her true passion lay in teaching the art of dance. For the past 8 years, she has been a dedicated dance educator, pouring her heart and soul into nurturing young talents.

Bree holds an impressive array of qualifications, including Certificates III and IV in Dance, a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management, and expertise in Pilates, Anatomy, Barre, and Yoga techniques. Beyond her dance credentials, Bree is also a certified primary school teacher with a profound dedication to inclusive education. Over the last 4 years, she has been teaching dance to students with special needs, fostering a warm and inclusive environment.

With her extensive and diverse training, Bree is committed to providing students with a safe and professional learning experience. Her passion lies in creating inclusive classes where every child is celebrated and departs with a radiant smile.

MONIQUE FEAIN

Classical Ballet

Monique brings a wealth of experience to her role as a ballet instructor. Her training spans the Cecchetti Method and RAD (Advanced and Solo Seal), acquired in Sydney and London (at Ballet Rambert). During her formative years, Monique had the privilege of receiving coaching from esteemed figures such as Margaret Craske, Nora Roche, Laura Wilson, Dame Marie Rambert, and Angela Ellis at the Mercury Theatre in Notting Hill, London.

Following her training, Monique embarked on a successful international ballet career as a Soloist, gracing stages across Europe for over a decade in both Classical Ballet and Musical Theatre. Upon her return to Australia, she furthered her expertise by completing her Cecchetti Teaching qualifications, including the prestigious Enrico Cecchetti Diploma.

Monique holds registrations as a Cecchetti teacher, RAD teacher, and Dance for Parkinson's teacher. Additionally, she is a Silver Swans Licensee, showcasing her commitment to providing dance opportunities for individuals of all ages and abilities. With over 30 years of teaching experience in Sydney, Northern NSW, Gold Coast, and Brisbane, Monique has nurtured countless aspiring dancers, many of whom have gone on to achieve remarkable careers in dance.

CHARLEE COFFEY

Jazz, Lyrical, Acrobatics

Charlee is a dedicated and versatile dancer with a rich background in dance training. Over the past 5 years, she honed her skills at Amy Becarri Dance Studios on the Sunshine Coast. Notably, Charlee earned a scholarship for the Part-Time Dance Academy at Peregian Beach College in 2022 and 2023, where she received top-notch training while completing her secondary school studies.

Her passion for teaching blossomed at Studio 4 Dance, where she spent the previous year instructing students in acrobatics, jazz, lyrical, ballet, hip hop, and cheerleading. Her teaching repertoire spanned ages 3 to 16, inclusive of private lessons and soloists who achieved remarkable progress and personal growth under her guidance.

Charlee is not only an accomplished soloist, earning awards for her performances, but also a valued member of a team crowned GTB Small Group National Champions and Runners-Up for 2023. Eager to pursue her dream of becoming a professional dancer, Charlee recently relocated to the Gold Coast to undertake full-time training with Dance Force. Amidst her training, she remains passionate about teaching and is enthusiastic about fostering her students' love for dance.

Erin Apostolou

Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop

Erin's dance journey commenced at the tender age of two in her hometown of Sydney, where she embarked on her training at the esteemed Glenda Yee School of Dance (GY Dance). Following her graduation, she made a pivotal decision to relocate to the Gold Coast to pursue full-time training at Dance Force.

During her time at Dance Force, Erin not only partook in the prestigious 2022 Dance Force Grad tour but also achieved the milestone of completing her Certificate IV in Dance. Her passion for teaching ignited when she undertook her Certificate III in Assistant Dance Teaching while still a student. This marked the inception of her remarkable teaching journey.

Erin's experience as an assistant teacher, collaborating closely with troupe and syllabus instructors, as well as guest choreographers, equipped her with invaluable skills. These skills paved the way for her to seize opportunities to lead her own classes and craft choreographic masterpieces. Erin's profound love for teaching stems from her desire to impart her expertise to the next generation of dancers.

Erin has been sharing her dance wisdom for a number of years, notably with competition teams that have achieved impressive placings in both New South Wales and Queensland. Her dedication and passion for the art of dance continue to inspire those around her.

Maya Wade

Acrobatics, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Eisteddfod

Maya has been sharing her expertise as a dance instructor for the past 4 years across various dance styles and acrobatics.

In her earlier years, Maya was an elite gymnast. However, her unwavering passion for dance led her to transition into the role of a gymnastics coach. Her pursuit of excellence started in Sydney, where she completed her comprehensive training in dance and gymnastics, honed her teaching skills, and embarked on her coaching journey. Maya has also successfully earned her Certificate III in Dance/Dance Teaching with dance force fulltime.

Maya's commitment to her dance career brought her to Tweed Heads, where she now resides. Her passion for dance is palpable, and she thrives on the opportunity to inspire and guide young dancers to unlock their full potential.

As a valued member of the Incite Dance team, Maya is excited to contribute her expertise and infectious enthusiasm.
