Jasmine discovered her passion for dance at the age of 7, igniting a lifelong journey of dedication and success. Excelling in both jazz and tap exams across various syllabi, she expanded her training to include lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and RAD classical ballet, showcasing her versatility and commitment to the art.
As a competitive dancer, Jasmine achieved outstanding results in numerous eisteddfods across Australia while training with the prestigious Dance Force. She also performed with acclaimed dance ensembles during her school years, further honing her skills and stage presence.
In 2006, Jasmine successfully completed her Cert III in Live Theatre Productions alongside her HSC. At just 17, she was selected to choreograph and teach full-time at a local dance studio, marking the beginning of her career as an inspiring dance educator.
Jasmine’s choreographic talent quickly gained recognition, with her routines winning numerous eisteddfods and competitions throughout NSW and QLD, including finals victories at the Showcase National Dance Championships. Her passion for teaching blossomed during this time, as she developed a reputation for nurturing talent and fostering excellence.
With over 17 years of teaching experience, Jasmine has completed her Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Management, gaining extensive knowledge in anatomy, safe dance practices, and the art of teaching various styles. Her expertise has made her a respected figure in the dance community.
In 2015, Jasmine fulfilled her dream of establishing Incite Dance on the picturesque Kirra Hill. As the proud director of a studio that prioritises care, encouragement, and empowerment, Jasmine is committed to helping every student unlock their full potential. She strives to create a supportive environment where dancers can thrive, build confidence, and achieve their goals.
Jasmine’s unwavering dedication to her students and her love for dance continue to drive the success and growth of Incite Dance, making it a cherished institution in the community.
Bree Mitchell
Tiny Tots/Beginners, Jazz, Classical Ballet, Lyrical
Bree's journey into the world of dance commenced at the tender age of 5, and from that point onward, she immersed herself in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, and Lyrical. As her love for dance flourished, it drove her to take a significant step in her life - relocating to Sydney during her grade 12 year to pursue full-time dance training.
After gracing numerous national stages and gigs, Bree's path took an unexpected yet fulfilling turn when she realized her true passion lay in teaching the art of dance. For the past 8 years, she has been a dedicated dance educator, pouring her heart and soul into nurturing young talents.
Bree holds an impressive array of qualifications, including Certificates III and IV in Dance, a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management, and expertise in Pilates, Anatomy, Barre, and Yoga techniques. Beyond her dance credentials, Bree is also a certified primary school teacher with a profound dedication to inclusive education. Over the last 4 years, she has been teaching dance to students with special needs, fostering a warm and inclusive environment.
With her extensive and diverse training, Bree is committed to providing students with a safe and professional learning experience. Her passion lies in creating inclusive classes where every child is celebrated and departs with a radiant smile.
CHARLEE COFFEY
Tiny Tots/Beginners, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Acrobatics
Charlee is a dedicated and versatile dancer with a rich background in dance training. Over the past 5 years, she honed her skills at Amy Becarri Dance Studios on the Sunshine Coast. Notably, Charlee earned a scholarship for the Part-Time Dance Academy at Peregian Beach College in 2022 and 2023, where she received top-notch training while completing her secondary school studies.
Her passion for teaching blossomed at Studio 4 Dance, where she spent the previous year instructing students in acrobatics, jazz, lyrical, ballet, hip hop, and cheerleading. Her teaching repertoire spanned ages 3 to 16, inclusive of private lessons and soloists who achieved remarkable progress and personal growth under her guidance.
Charlee is not only an accomplished soloist, earning awards for her performances, but also a valued member of a team crowned GTB Small Group National Champions and Runners-Up for 2023. Eager to pursue her dream of becoming a professional dancer, Charlee recently relocated to the Gold Coast to undertake full-time training with Dance Force. Amidst her training, she remains passionate about teaching and is enthusiastic about fostering her students' love for dance.
Maya Wade
Acrobatics, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Eisteddfod
Maya has been a dedicated and inspiring dance instructor for over six years, specialising in various dance styles and acrobatics. Her journey is marked by passion, success, and an unrelenting drive to inspire others through the art of movement.
In her early years, Maya excelled as an elite gymnast, cultivating the discipline and precision that would later shape her dance career. Her transition into dance was seamless, and she quickly became a sought-after gymnastics coach. Based in Sydney, Maya completed extensive training in both dance and gymnastics, refining her teaching techniques and building a solid foundation for her future.
Maya's career highlights include performing as a backup dancer on international stages, travelling the world and showcasing her talent alongside renowned artists. She has also achieved her Certificate III in Dance/Dance Teaching with Dance Force Fulltime and completed the prestigious Pre-Professional Dancers Fulltime course, solidifying her expertise in the field.
Now based in Tweed Heads, Maya continues to share her passion for dance, dedicating herself to helping young dancers unlock their full potential. Her teaching is infused with enthusiasm, creativity, and a commitment to excellence, making her an invaluable asset to Incite Dance.
As a cherished member of the Incite Dance team, Maya is thrilled to contribute her experience, energy, and love for dance, inspiring the next generation to dream big and achieve even more.
CLAIRE DONALDSON
Classical Ballet, Cover teacher for all genres
Claire is a passionate and accomplished dancer with a diverse background in multiple dance genres. Starting her dance journey at the age of 7, she has excelled in ballet (RAD), jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, tap (Glenn Wood Tap), heels, and musical theatre. Her unwavering dedication to her craft has led her to relocate from Canberra to Tweed Heads in 2025, where she will pursue full-time dance training at DanceForce.
Claire’s commitment to excellence is exemplified by her achievements in the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, completing all grades and vocational levels from Primary to Advanced 2 with distinctions at every level. Her talent has earned her multiple invitations to perform at the RAD Gala and a consistent place as a finalist in the prestigious Betsy Sawyer Awards.
A highly accomplished performer, Claire was part of Adrenaline Finals 2024's highest-scoring troupe and has also been recognised as an award-winning soloist at both regional and national competitions across Australia.
In addition to her performance career, Claire has developed a strong passion for teaching. Since beginning her coaching journey in 2022, she has successfully mentored performance teams and soloists in the u/6, u/8, u/10, and u/12 categories, achieving state titles and numerous accolades at regional and interstate events. In 2024, she guided 15 students through their RAD ballet exams, with every student achieving outstanding results.
Claire is deeply committed to inspiring and nurturing the next generation of dancers. She brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm to her teaching, empowering her students to reach their fullest potential while instilling a lifelong love for dance.
Erin Apostolou
Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop
Erin's dance journey commenced at the tender age of two in her hometown of Sydney, where she embarked on her training at the esteemed Glenda Yee School of Dance (GY Dance). Following her graduation, she made a pivotal decision to relocate to the Gold Coast to pursue full-time training at Dance Force.
During her time at Dance Force, Erin not only partook in the prestigious 2022 Dance Force Grad tour but also achieved the milestone of completing her Certificate IV in Dance. Her passion for teaching ignited when she undertook her Certificate III in Assistant Dance Teaching while still a student. This marked the inception of her remarkable teaching journey.
Erin's experience as an assistant teacher, collaborating closely with troupe and syllabus instructors, as well as guest choreographers, equipped her with invaluable skills. These skills paved the way for her to seize opportunities to lead her own classes and craft choreographic masterpieces. Erin's profound love for teaching stems from her desire to impart her expertise to the next generation of dancers.
Erin has been sharing her dance wisdom for a number of years, notably with competition teams that have achieved impressive placings in both New South Wales and Queensland. Her dedication and passion for the art of dance continue to inspire those around her.
